Overview
Ras Mohamed was declared Egypt’s first and only National Park in 1983 and is an area of stunning geological features both on land and under the water including one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. On the land you will find mountains and wadis, desert dunes and craggy beaches as well as an abundance of animal life including foxes, gazelles, lizards, and ibexes. You will also discover the most northerly located Mangrove tree outcropping in the world which serves as a valuable breeding area and habitat for both migrating and resident birds such as the white stork or raptor.
Collection time is after breakfast and you will return back to Sharm El Sheikh by early afternoon. You will need your swimming costume and snorkelling kit if you wish to snorkel in Allah’s Garden Reef and through the mangroves channel and see the Earthquake crack. Non snorkellers can swim in the magic lake or just sit and take a picnic there.
